Ali Landry Monteverde

Ali Landry, an American beauty pageant contestant, model and actress who was crowned Miss USA in 1996, is an American model and actress. The name she was given by her mom after Ali MacGraw, an actress who appeared in the 1970 movie 'Love Story.' She is from French (Cajun) descendance and was raised in Cecilia, Louisiana, where she was a student at Cecilia High School. She was 17 when she became the the captain of her high school cheerleading squad and was given the title 'Miss Louisiana Teen USA. She then won 1996 'Miss Louisiana USA' and became famous after winning the title 'Miss America. She began her acting career in 1997 on the television drama 'Clueless'. She became known as "the Doritos Girl", for her role in a 'Doritos commercial' at the Super Bowl of 1998. Her debut came as film actor in the film Beautiful. She's appeared in numerous TV and film series throughout time. Her name is included in numerous "most wanted" lists for women.
