She was in two seasons of Showtime show Weeds featuring Mary Louise Parker. She was known as Judy Kramer, a Fox show that debuted in 2005. She also appeared as Marcy Bender on Dawson's Creek. On the Guiding Light soap opera, Dollar played Marina Cooper. This role has earned her an award nomination by Soap Opera Digest in 2003, for the Outstanding Newcomer. From 2007 through 2008 Dollar starred as Cindy Thomas on the ABC TV series Women's Murder Club. The actress was on NBC's 2012 series pilot Happy Valley but it was not picked up.
